PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES
- Considering that
Antarctica is considered by many to be the last frontier,
- Mindful of the sensitive ecological and environmental
state of Antarctica,
- Conscious that the ecosystem of Antarctica is closely
interrelated and needs to be considered as a whole,
- Desiring to promote peace and friendship of all peoples
in the world,
-Recognizing the desirability of establishing under the
laws of NLBA, a body which will facilitate international communication, and will
promote the peaceful uses of the seas and oceans, the equitable and efficient
utilization of the resources, the conservation of the living resources, and the
study, protection and preservation of the marine environment in the Antarctic
region,
hereby incorporate the "Antarctic Research And Development
Board", a government instrumentality, under the laws of the Republic of New Lemuria, an ecclesiastical and constitutional sovereignty,
- to promote peace, friendship and
goodwill in the Antarctic region,
- to respect the unique Antarctic environment,
- to investigate, research and develop Republic of New Lemuria's Antarctic
claim,
- to establish permanent settlement(s),
- to do all other things that are necessary to achieve
these aims.
