All
persons born or naturalized in the Republic of New Lemuria, and subject to the
jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the Republic of New Lemuria and the island on which they
reside.

Being a citizen
of the Republic of New Lemuria gives you all of the inalienable rights guaranteed to you by the
Constitution of the Republic of New Lemuria. Most people become citizens of the Republic of New Lemuria in one of two
ways:
If you were born
within any sovereign territory of the Republic of New Lemuria, you are automatically a citizen. In
such case, you may apply for a passport or proof of citizenship upon
presentation of an affidavit of birth. If you are a citizen of any other
country, but wish to become a citizen of the Republic of New Lemuria, you are welcome to apply for
citizenship without renouncing any other citizenship.
