HISTORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NEW LEMURIA BAR ASSOCIATION
The Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association Act of 1997 gave
birth to the Republic of New Lemuria's licensing authority over the legal profession. The Bar
Association is administered by the Governor of the Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association,
who is also the Chief Judge of the Permanent Court of Arbitration. The House of
Elders established the Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association for the advancement of the
administration of "Peace" and "Righteousness" introduced by Melchizedek to
Abraham in accordance with the revealed Divine Law of the Most High God within
the field of jurisprudence, the encouragement of cordial relations between Bench
and Bar and the Republic of New Lemuria citizenry, and the protection of the
professional interest of the members of the Republic of New Lemuria Bar.
Today, attorneys around the world join the Republic of New Lemuria Bar
Association to participate in international tribunals before the Republic of New Lemuria's Permanent
Court of Arbitration, which sits by designation in any host jurisdiction.
Throughout the years, the Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association has
implemented Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) programs to ensure that
members are fully qualified to represent their clients with full knowledge and
vigor. As the Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association continues to grow, its administration
continues to embrace technology, and makes every effort to respond to the
demands of a changing society, educating and informing both its members and the
public.
