REPUBLIC OF NEW LEMURIA ACCEDES TO LAW OF TREATIES

On July 27, 1999, The Republic of New Lemuria, acceded to the Vienna Convention on the Law of
Treaties recorded at the United Nations. "The Republic of New Lemuria by doing
this agrees to recognize and fulfill any obligations contained in any treaties
it enters into", said Richard James McDonald, head of the Dominion International
Court of Arbitration and Governor of the Republic of New Lemuria Bar Association.
McDonald also noted that, "this accession further strengthens the maintenance of
international peace and security through the development of friendly relations.
